: I just found this site today. I was looking for information on what must be done to protect a game idea. It deals with trivia. I did not know if you get a copyright on the finished game, a patent ( isn't that just for inventions) and/or a trademark??? Having just retired from teaching, I now have time to think about and develop the idea but am not familiar with the legal workings of this concept?? From reading the other postings, it appears that trivia questions itself would not be copyright protected but the manner in which you compile and present them would be. Am I on the right track and where do I go from here???
