We have gone through a shitload of names for the band we were in not the mention the constant changing of other members. I was unhappy with the then-current name of our band and by majority rules I changed it. We all grew to love the name not hearing it before. My drummer winded up hitting me with a car injuring me pretty badly, but friends are friends and I forgave him. I eventually quit the band to spend more time with my girlfriend and work. I recently got a tattoo of the name on my chest. I want to trademark the name so I can use it for my new band and show off my tattoo. Please help me and direct me to the write place. Dear Nick, One of our Service marks is ELAINE'S Workshop, it means E arly L egal A dvixe Is N ot Expensive. Well if you have a tattoo, it could be late. The first thing you have to do is to have a search to see if the name is registerable. If it is then you are all right. If it isn't you have your tatoo but you might be in difficulty using it for the band name. M. Arthur Auslander
